Masta Ace

With an impressive resume in rap that includes membership in the legendary Juice Crew (along with Marley Marl, MC Shan, Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Roxanne Shante, and Craig G) and a verse on the 1988 classic posse cut "The Symphony," Brooklyn's Masta Ace is truly an underappreciated rap veteran and underground luminary.

Masta Ace formed a Crew in the early 90's Called: Masta Ace Incorporated. The nickname given to the clique of rappers surrounding Masta Ace. This lineup includes Bluez Bruthaz member Lord Digga, vocalist Paula Perry, and Brooklyn based singer/songwriter Leschea. This lineup would work on 1993's SlaughtaHouse and 1995's Sittin' on Chrome before Masta Ace began releasing albums without their support.

In the 90's, hip hop changed dramatically. The decade was a big bang for many up and coming artists. The 90's was packed with beef, media arrangements and newcomers. Masta Ace's style became more modern and adapted to the new sounds of the 90's and Masta Ace continued to make that good, ill, off the hook, Hip Hop!

Masta Ace dropped: disposable art's in 2001. This album is so lyrically packed with goods and aspects that pinpoints the game for what it truly is, as he explains the difference between the Underground and the commercial media world. Masta Ace is first of all a Confrontational MC & that is only one of the reasons why Masta Ace and other MC's like him, don't get promoted as much by the media. This album is my favorite from Masta Ace!

In 2004 Masta Ace dropped: A long hot summer. This album is also packed with the good's and contains a lot of interesting aspects on life and the biz'.

Ace has been known to release sleeper singles that cannot be found on his albums and has features in many branches of the game.

Here is two feature preview of Masta Ace that you won't find on any of he's albums.

Considered as an underground artist, Masta Ace never got the attention he deserved. Masta ace is profoundly one of the best lyrical MC's and he's style is not to be matched. Masta Ace has over 20 years of experience and has reflected he's lyrics on facts and mind-blowing thoughts since the beginning.
