The Pharcyde.

The Pharcyde. An influential alternative rap quartet from South Central Los Angeles, the Pharcyde was formed by MCs/producers Tre "Slimkid" Hardson, Derrick "Fatlip" Stewart, Imani Wilcox, and Romye "Booty Brown" Robinson. They were working together in the late 80's and came out with their first debut album in 1992 called: Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde. They are out with 5 albums today.


The Pharcyde has teamed up with many artists & one of the many worth mentioning is J-Dilla(James Yancey). The Pharcyde & J-Dilla has piled up a few underground tracks together.

The Pharcyde has a Freewheeling, playful, poetic, organic, humorous, confrontational, street-smart blend of lyrics, and is known for their many underground classics.
