Cunninlynguists
The progressive Southern duo Cunninlynguists' combination of witty lyrics and edgy production has made them a favorite of underground hip-hop fans. Before they teamed up, Deacon the Villain from Kentucky and Kno from Georgia were already well known among the hip-hop underground for both their skills on the mike and their abilities in the producer's chair. From two to three. Mr. SOS joined the group in 2003 and now they are a trio. Today they are out with 6 albums.
When Mr. SOS joined the group, Kno dedicated more time on the production side & switched his focus from rapping to production. The trio came with the albums: Sloppy Seconds, Vol. 1 landing in 2003 and Sloppy Seconds, Vol. 2 following two years later. Mr. SOS had moved on by the time of their third album, Piece of Strange, which arrived in 2006.
Cunninlynguist has a freewheeling, confident, lively, literate, ambitious, confrontational & street-smart blend of lyrics. Their music is crisp, soothing, intelligent and well put together.

The bridge between!
Hip hop is the center of attention! My main course of action at this website is to meet and inspire people to listen to more intelligent, more righteous and more interested music in hip hop. This is the bridge between the Commercial world and the Underground.
Image can be misguidance in hip hop. I don't care about the diamonds on your wrist. Managers, investors, producers can corrupt the industry with the media and the mainstream promotion. It's especially easy for children to be influenced by what they see through their television and what they hear on the radio. Radio and TV kills the choice of self-discovery in music, and that is what i am all about. If you sit in front of the TV all day long, you are Ignorant. Make your own choice on what's hot. A TV or a radio only feed you a small limited amout of entertainment and it's prepaid for the artists to have airtime! The same rotation over and over. When an artist's only intention is to entertain for the promotional benefits like money, image and fame, i don't see the heart of it. And that is usually what you find. Artists that is sold to the media and the fame.
Feelings in art should be more selective, and that the artist should be responsible to try to perpetuate the feelings witch he/she feels that would be most beneficial, or the feelings witch will most contribute to a better world. But the media and the people don't always agree with what is happening in the real world. Formally it is artists who try to express them self in a way the media won't promote, that dwell in the darkness of the underground.
Here is a very good example from Masta Ace.
The lyrics in this song goes out to the media and the sell-out's in the hip hop industry.

CYNE! Hip hop for a better world!
I have a lot of different hip hop music from all over the US. It's magic. I would like to introduce: CYNE! They are out with 4 albums: Time Being, Evolution Fight, Starship Utopia and Pretty Dark Things.
Check it out. Take the trip to the underground...
CYNE has a poetic, historian, confrontational, street-smart blend of lyrics and together with their expressive, laid back beats, they produce serious music at a high class rate. Even thought, CYNE get's recognition from their solid lyrics, and expressive beats in the Underground Hip Hop circle, they still remain unknown in the commercial world.

The MPC
The MPC. (Music Production Center 1 unit). Powerful enough to make a complete sound creation just from one machine. I am new to the music making products of today and have used a lot of time watching demos, reading and exploring the possibilities of music creation. From house music, to hip hop. you can produce It all. You can chop up 1 sound and even 1/4th of a sound. You can sample/record sound-parts from any music source and use it as an effect on the MPC. You have different types of instruments, and sounds for you to play with. Bass, clap, snare, guitar, and so on. I can imagine that It takes time and skill to achieve grate perfection on this music factory.
Here is an Image example:
To demonstrate, I have applied two links. In the first link, you will meet non other then the legendary Pete rock, who is famous for he's Instrumentals. He has worked with the best, such as: CL. smooth, INI, Edo G, Guru, Jeru the damaja, J dilla, 9th wonder, members of the wu tang clan and a whole lot of other hip hop fundamentalists.
It's my pleasure to Introduce Pete rock, on the MPC. Enjoy.

Then we will need a mixer! This is the DJM 400 Mixer, and is also the little brother of the DJM 800 Mixer. The DJM 400 is a very good 2 channel mixer from Pioneer.

It features: In-Loop Sampler automatically detects the tempo of a song during playback, sampling it for the length of 4 beats, then looping the sample. Since the sampled sound is in sync with the beat of the tune being played, it enables live remixing like never before. You can save and recall 5 loops into memory.
Beat Effects have progressed to 24bit quality sound. The effects automatically detect the BPM of the music and sync to the beats. DJM-400 includes 7 onboard effects: Delay, Echo, Filter, Franger, Phaser, Robot and Roll.
Band Isolator on every channel; the EQ ranges from +9dB to -Åá(infinity)
